Meet the Founder

bryan boydBryan K. Boyd is the owner of Profectus Clinical Systems. He was born and grew up in Bristol, Tennessee. Bryan started his first business at 19 years of age. Three years later he sold his share and moved to Memphis, Tennessee to pursue a management role with a larger company. He returned to his hometown and became the leader in sales and management at two different technology companies, in between operating a business in Texas as well. He started Profectus Clinical Systems in 1994 to provide computer software and hardware, as well as training and consulting services. The company has grown to serve customers in more than twenty states across America. Profectus is an authorized partner with EDImis and Microsoft.

Bryan represented the citizens of Bristol as a Sullivan County Commissioner for more than 13 years. He also served on the Board of Directors for Bristol Tennessee Essential Services (BTES) for many years, most recently as Chairman of the Board. BTES is the city’s electricity provider and leading Internet, Cable TV, and Telephone provider.

Bryan’s mission is to grow Profectus Clinical Systems while upholding his company name and standards: Profectus (Latin) to move forward, progress, accomplish.
